Formula One and MotoGP

Formula One is the biggest annual event to visit Australia. It is promoted by the Australian Grand Prix Corporation – as is the second biggest, MotoGP. Gibson Freight is the provider of all logistics related services to each of these events and has been since Australia was included in their global touring calendar in 1985 and 1989 respectively.

747F and 777F charter flights for each event are handled by Gibson Freight through Linfox owned Avalon Airport.

Gibson Freight has a long history of providing global logistics services to Formula One Management and DORNA Worldwide, owners of MotoGP and World SuperBikes, amongst other global motorsport promotions.

Kookai

It is not widely known that Fiji has a flourishing garment industry with markets ranging from high fashion to school uniforms, work wear and sponsor emblazoned football jerseys – all forwarded through Gibson Freight. Fast fashion is a world wide phenomenon no better executed than the partnership between Kookai and Gibson Freight.

Fabric and accessories are shipped or airfreighted to Fiji by Gibson Freight Australia and Gibson Cargo Services China. Garments are manufactured in the Suva factory, hang tagged, bar coded and packed to individual store orders ready for airfreighting to Australia and New Zealand.

A weeks production from Kookai Suva is trucked to Nadi Airport each Saturday, flown to Australia and New Zealand each Sunday for Monday distribution to Kookai stores by dedicated Gibson Freight truck runs.

Fashion garments manufactured in Suva between Monday and Friday of any given week are available to Kookai in store customers throughout Australia and New Zealand the following Monday.

Fashion doesn’t get any faster than that!!

Bee Dee Bags

The market leader for the supply and distribution of shopping carry bags is based in Wagga Wagga NSW. Bee Dee Bags are manufactured at locations throughout Southern and Northern China and shipped to Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Gibson Cargo Services, a joint venture with Cargo Services Far East Ltd, loads FCL’s at factories or consolidates product from various factories for shipment as FCL’s. Upon arrival in Australia, FCL’s are Customs cleared and then trucked by Gibson Freight line haul trucks to Wagga Wagga ex wharf upon availability – or staged at Gibson Freight container parks for prioritisation.

From Dalian, Shenzhen or anywhere else in China to Wagga Wagga or anywhere else in Australia, New Zealand and the USA, Gibson Cargo Services handles FCL, LCL and airfreight consignments as a single logistics service provider
– door to door.
